Following the Rape allegations surrounding Nigerian ace artiste Dbanj and the drama that has been brewing around it, several speculation have come into play after a lady named Seyitan Babatayo came out to accuse the Singer of Raping her in  2018 at Glee Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria and demanded an apology from from the pop star.

Dbanj later responded debunking these rumors and also demanding through his legal team the sum of 100Million Naira and a public apology as compensation from the said lady for falsely accusing him of rape.

It was further reported that the lady was arrested by men of the Nigerian police force after she failed to meet the demand made by D’banj.

However  the lady later came forward debunking that rumour stating that she was never arrested and that she has decided to move on and leave everything in the past.

She wrote:

I’m done with all these back and forth drama…Frank took me to the party and gave me the key to the room. I’m moving on and leaving everything behind me. Thanks and God bless. I don’t know where all this rumors are coming from. Myself and my mom were not and have not been been arrested.

Well these several back and forth & uncertainty has raised several eye brows, as several people have alledged  that this rape drama could have been peddled by Dbanj as a form of publicity stunt or his cover up story could be one he has used to promote his next single.

Well one of those Nigerians who has not hidden his feelings about the situation is Nolly wood’s actor Timini Egbuson who took to twitter to spell out his mind as regards Dbanj and his rape saga.

He wrote:

“I’m normally against cancel culture but Dbanj is cancelled in my books for real if this is all some sort of publicity stunt.Anyone with these type of accusations is foul and should face the full wrath of the law. What is even more disgusting than a cover-up is using this an opportunity to promote his next song, which was what I meant. #justiceforseyitan”
