Do your votes actually count?

Be it the presidential election, Governorship election, local government and even down to high school prefect or class rep elections, it is been agreed that citizens and residents have lost faith in the credibility of electioneering process in Nigeria.

Day after day, voting process in the country is been questioned; and recently, one voting process that is currently under the radar is the Big Brother Naija Show voting process.

One housemate in the Big Brother Naija season 4 (Pepper Dem) show, may have indirectly hinted on the lack of credibility of the voting process in the show.

Natasha Ibinabo Akide aka Tacha who was disqualified from the season 4 episode of the show in a recent video may have taken a swipe at the organizers of the show as she alleged that the voting process in the show is flawed.

Tacha who disclosed in the video that she has been receiving texts and messages to vote one person or the other, responded that Nigerians never learn and asked if their votes really count.

Though she never mentioned for what or who she was asked to vote for, we all know that the only major voting process currently ongoing in the country is the Big Brother Naija Show.

So is Tacha saying that our votes do not count on the show?
Is the voting process in the Big Brother Naija Show truly fair and transparent?
